The report that we’re looking to have written is tentatively titled, “New Woodworking Products That Make Life Easier”. The focus should be the best / most useful new woodworking products on the market. For instance, there is no reason for anyone to hand cut any joint with the wide variety of cheap joinery jigs on the market.
The list can veer into the “home improvement” category as long as there is a woodworking component. For instance, the wide variety of veneers (both actual veneers like stone or simulated veneers like brick) upgrade the look of any project. You get the idea.
I’d like at least 10 products that have come onto the market in the last 5 years or so. The products (and your writing) should make a novice woodworker / handyman say, “Wow! That makes the job so much easier! I bet I could do that and have it turn out professional looking!” As always, it’s good to know people are actually reading my instructions, so be sure to put in the magic phrase, “I Love Woodworking!” into the first line of your response. The best possible sitation is that you would have used some of these products yourself.
