Wood Land Rover Defender SUV Work Process
To create a copy of the Land Rover Defender 110, the man took a big block of wood and a cardboard copy of the SUV, which he used as a reference. Using a milling machine, a drill, and a grinder, the author created the body of the model. After this, painted small pieces of wood, using them to create glass and different parts of the car roof.
With the help of a chisel, the blogger made small details of the exterior, such as the grille, headlights, the relief of the hood, as well as the tire tread pattern. Using the same tool, the man created a detailed interior of the SUV and also marked out sections of the engine compartment. In addition, the model received red-painted taillights and brake calipers, as well as opening doors.
In the final stage of the work, the blogger built a copy of the real SUV suspension, which he secured with a wooden base. The level of precision is simply astounding, It would be amazing enough just to gaze at the finished product, but watching the step-by-step process of making this Land Rover Defender 110 model come to life is worth anyone’s time.
He’s Not The Only One Doing This
At the end of this March, a blogger on the YouTube channel Woodworking Art also made a detailed copy of a Chevrolet Corvette C8 from a piece of wood. The master made almost all the details of the model from the cypress, but he also used metal blanks for the moving parts of the chassis, steering, and door openers.
