Two compost boxes made from cedar and wire screen. : gardening

Thanks!! I found the plans for these on Pinterest, actually. For someone that has zero woodworking skills, they were fairly easy to measure, cut, and assemble. They took me altogether, between a Saturday and Sunday, probably six hours or so to finish. If you’re interested I can DM the Pinterest link to you. 😊

These boxes are open on the bottom so the compost is sitting on bare ground. We had two piles going, prior to the boxes being built, and they consist of grass clippings, dried leaves, cardboard (mostly Amazon 😬) boxes without the fiber tape, and green food scraps (e.g. egg shells, coffee grounds, veg/fruit remnants).
