Yes, Porter Cable made industrial grade mostly hand machine tools. I never owned any, but used a number of them before I bought my own similar tools. The tools I bought when I could buy one never seemed to match up with Porter Cable. This was way back in the early 1960’s.
Black and Decker I never liked and still don’t. It’s for the person who needs a tool for one job.
Others mileage may differ.
Now, it’s either Milwaukee or Snap On. Snap On make their own power hand tools. They ain’t cheap, but the name says it all. Yes, it’s top notch.
Porter Cable, Are they still around at all? if so, they’re probably having them made…
